The Town of Hastings Zoning Board of Appeals will be holding a public hearing 7:30pm July 21, 2022. at the Town of Hastings Municipal Building, located at 1134 U.S. Rt.11, Central Square, New York on the area variance application of Richard Bean that would authorize the construction of a shed 2’ from the side property line instead of the required 9.1’ and 2’ from rear property line instead of the required 25’ and a swimming pool/deck 6’ instead of the required 9.1’

NOTICE OF BOND RESOLUTION
The Bond Resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, was adopted on August 9, 2022. The validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the Town of Hastings, Oswego County, New York is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after the date of publication of this notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution.

SUMMARY OF BOND RESOLUTION
A Resolution adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Hastings, Oswego County, New York (the “Town”) on August 9, 2022 authorizes a project (the “Project”) consisting of reconstruction and construction of certain additions and improvements to the Town’s existing sanitary sewer system as more particularly described in the Town of Hastings Sanitary Sewer System Improvements Map and Plan dated May 2022 and prepared by the Town’s Engineer Barton & Loguidice (the “Map and Plan”), including manhole improvement, sewer main reconstruction, pump station improvements, grinder pump replacements, and wastewater treatment plant improvements, together with appurtenant facilities, including site improvements, original furnishings, equipment, machinery apparatus and other improvements incidental thereto, all as required for the purpose for which such facilities are to be used, at a maximum estimated cost of $14,710,000, including all professional costs, equipment, machinery and other necessary appurtenances and all other necessary costs incidental to such work which is estimated to be the total cost thereof, and the plan for the financing of the aforesaid specific object or purpose is the issuance of up to of $14,710,000 or such lesser amount as may be necessary, of serial bonds or any bond anticipation notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of the bonds of said Town, hereby authorized to be issued pursuant to the Local Finance Law and the levy of a tax to pay interest on said obligations, and by the application of state and/or federal assistance available or to any revenues available for such purpose from any other source. The authorization of bonds is apportioned as follows (a) for reconstruction, and construction of certain additions to, the existing sanitary sewer system having a period of probable usefulness of 40 years – $11,120,000, and (b) for grinder pump replacements having a period of probable usefulness of 30 years – $3,590,000. In accordance with subsection (2) of section 2 of paragraph b. of Section 35.00 of the Local Finance Law, this Bond Resolution shall not be subject to permissive referendum. This Bond Resolution shall become effective immediately. Such resolution shall be kept available for public inspection in the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours for twenty days following this publication.
